Artie Lange, a comedian on The Howard Stern Show, was taken to the hospital this weekend after suffering from nine stab wounds, the New York Post reports. Lange was discovered by his mother Saturday morning. Six of his cuts were described as “hesitation cuts,” and three were considered deep wounds, the Post reports. Lange reportedly stabilized after surgery. Stern did not discuss Lange's condition on the air other than to confirm that he was hospitalized. He did, however, dismiss the rumor that Lange had quit the program as “absolutely false.”
